    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing and using DevClocked ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

    2. Service Description

    DevClocked is a time tracking and analytics platform for developers that integrates with GitHub to provide insights into coding patterns, productivity metrics, and development workflows. The service includes both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features and limitations.

    3. User Accounts and Registration

    To use our service, you must:

    • Provide accurate and complete registration information
    • Maintain the security of your account credentials
    • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
    • Have authorization to connect your GitHub account
    • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

    4. Acceptable Use Policy

    You agree not to:

    • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
    • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
    • Use automated systems to access the service without permission
    • Share, sell, or transfer your account to others
    • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

    5. GitHub Integration

    By connecting your GitHub account, you grant DevClocked permission to access repository data, commit information, and activity patterns as necessary to provide the service. You maintain full control over which repositories are analyzed and can revoke access at any time through your GitHub settings or our platform.

    6. Subscription and Billing

    For paid subscriptions:

    • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
    • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
    • No refunds for partial months, but service continues until the end of the billing period
    • We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice
    • Failed payments may result in service suspension after reasonable notice

    7. Data Ownership and Privacy

    You retain ownership of your data. We process your data according to our Privacy Policy. Upon account termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless retention is required by law. You can request data export at any time through your account settings.

    8. Intellectual Property

    DevClocked and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DevClocked and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

    9. Service Availability

    We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

    10. Limitation of Liability

    DevClocked shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

    11. Termination

    We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

    12. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
